Empowering Fellows to build and lead teams of Champions for cascading community impact.

  • Empowerment is at the core of everything we do at OML MENA
  • We provide comprehensive training to build foundational knowledge and leadership skills
  • We offer practical skill-building opportunities that translate into real-world capabilities
  • We deliver direct support for implementing community projects and social enterprises

Phase 2 - Leadership Challenge

Fellows & Champions Leadership Program

Cascading Leadership made possible

  • Fellows take on a leadership challenge to connect, inspire, and empower young leaders in their communities
  • Fellows pass on their learnings and build a dedicated team of emerging leaders
  • The second tier of young leaders are called Champions
  • Each Fellow is expected to build a team of at least 20 Champions
  • Fellows are provided with a series of Masterclasses on key sustainability topics
  • Fellows lead the training sessions with their Champions during this phase
  • The program creates a cascading leadership development model across communities

PHASE 3 – Act for change

Fellows Training Implementation Phase

The process of applying all the preious phases

  • Fellows enter into a project implementation phase in collaboration with the team they built in Phase 2
  • Fellows undergo a rigorous screening process to qualify for project implementation
  • Selected fellows are able to develop and execute their own innovative projects
  • Projects focus on addressing key sustainability challenges within their local communities
  • Fellows receive micro-grant funding from NELIS to support their project implementation
  • Fellows may propose project themes based on their assessment of critical social challenges in their community or country
  • Fellows may propose project themes based on their assessment of critical environmental challenges in their community or country

PHASE 4– Graduation

Graduation and OML Alumni Community

The result of fruitfull training

  • All Fellows and Champions who successfully complete the Fellowship graduate as OML leaders
  • Graduates may join the global OML Alumni Community
  • Alumni help connect NexGen leaders around the world
  • Alumni inspire NexGen leaders globally
  • Alumni empower NexGen leaders worldwide
  • Alumni gain access to networking opportunities provided through the Alumni Community
  • Alumni gain access to empowerment opportunities provided in and through the Alumni Community
